| What are Small Groups About? |
Our small groups are an easy way for people to get to
know each other and share their lives with each other. They provide a
support group and a circle of friends which help us grow to our full
potential in Christ. They also enable us to work together in order to help
others do the same. Each small group is free to work out exactly what they
do together, however a typical mixture of activities includes social
activities, community involvement, Bible study and prayer.

| Who would want be involved small groups? |
Anyone who is interested in connecting with
other people and drawing closer to Christ will want to be involved in a small
group.
|
| What are the core Values? |
- Small Groups allow people to be involved at their own personal
level in worship, community, nurture and mission - each of these elements is
vital in each group;
- Small Groups are Christ-centred and the church's Life-Changing purpose
guides group life;
- Small Groups actively seek to develop other small groups; and
- Small Groups are the Church (rather than being an organisation of the church) -
Enoggera Baptist Church aims for all people in the congregation to actively
participate in a Small Group or, if prevented from participation by special
circumstances, to be associated with a group for pastoral care.
|
| When does it meet? |
Each group decides amongst the members when
and where it will meet. However, typically groups meet in a private residence
every week and break during school holidays. Social activities are often
held in the wider community. Contact the Small Groups Co-ordinator for a listing of
times and places
|
| How can I get Involved? |
Please contact the Small Groups Co-ordinator (the
contact person shown above) if you have any questions or would like to be
involved but don't know where to start.
